Julia has a passion for philanthropy. She recently founded and serves as President of the Morningside Park Conservancy, a group dedicated to preserving and fostering the natural beauty of one of Manhattan's signature green spaces. Julia proudly serves on the board of The Reading Team, helping young Harlem readers develop a lifelong passion for reading and learning. Originally from Connecticut, Julia lived abroad in Paris and Hong Kong before settling in NYC. Since 2004 she has called the beautiful Mount Morris Park section of Harlem home where she currently resides with her son.
